Our Breeding Program…
Our dogs are bred for quality, health, sound bone structure, graceful beauty and gentle temperaments that characterizes the shepherd. They are bred to create genetic diversity that will guarantee the healthy future of the shepherd. Our breeding program is based on our unequaled dedication to moral, ethical and professional breeding practices. We strive to stay on-top of all advances in breeding practices and to the humane treatment of all dogs.

We breed approximately one to two litters of puppies a year. We believe in quality not quantity. We take our dogs and breeding program very seriously. We do not make our living from selling puppies or rehoming rescues. The only reason we breed is to improve the breed. Our puppies are raised in our home, socialized with other animals and people, vet checked and temperament/conformation tested.

Remember to Investigate Before You Invest! As with any breed, unfortunately, we have to worry about puppymills and unethical breeders in our beloved breed, too. Check out the unscrupulous business practices of one of the largest Shiloh Shepherd breeders.

Our dogs that are used for breeding are OFA and Penn Hip x-rayed. We prefer the Penn Hip for its accuracy. We also do OFA elbows and heart certification. We do identify all health testing results in the breed section. All of our dogs are CGC (with gunshot) and Therapy Dog Inc. Certified. Most of our dogs also compete in various dog shows throughout the East Coast including AKC, UKC, NCA, NKC, ARBA, Rarities, etc. This makes for a very happy, well-rounded working dog with very stable temperaments.
